    Good recap, Paul. With the humid sub tropical climate here, we are used to ‘sweatin’ any aftershave worn every day.

    Thanks, Tim! The Osage Rub tones down some of the sweetness of the Lime Sec and of course gives it the menthol jolt. Today was the first time trying the combo and I liked the result.

    Great shave, Tim! You’re a better man than me, Gunga Din! I love my SS Lupo, but never did well with the aluminum, much too light for me.

    Thanks Andrew! It is a nice soap and that meatlocker feel to the face is something else. Hopefully, I will see how my new approach works out with a new puck of Cryogen.

    Thank you, Andrew--loved the results. Very much like making a super-goop lather. It does take some time, but it's worth it if you've got it :D

    Ok, I just ordered another Cryogen puck. Hopefully, I will solve the puzzle to prevent its slimy transformation with this one.

    Tough one to call, since it’s different holding angles. I do like blade feel/exposure. Without that, I tend to use too much pressure, which leads to mistakes or irritation. Now....for me blade feel is different from blade flex, of which I’m no fan, neither for safety or open edge razors. The Rex keeps plenty of exposure without blade flex for me. It’s been awhile since I’ve used them, but I seem to remember more blade flex from my Gillette adjustables, and even a Merkur Futur I had for a short while.

    Terrific shave, Tim! Sounds like a wonderful lather as well!
    I really enjoy my lightweight razors when they come up in the rotation. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Titanium razor that I should have in two or three weeks. I'm anxious to try it out.
