Thank you, Gentlemen. I'm not overwhelmed, just busy. I certainly don't want to come across as complaining at all.

Thanks, Jason, I’m a retired industrial engineer who specialized in operations research. I do enjoy tinkering with these cool little razors.

I've enjoyed your focus this month and all the cool vintage razors. Between you and Gary, I've really come to appreciate the Gillette NEW style razors in particular.

There is no shame in taking care of business--real life first. Always. But hopefully life slows down a bit and lets you enjoy it this month. :D

Congrats on finishing the soap, Joseph. Fortuitous that it ended right at the start of a new focus as well.

You and me both, Joe. Aluminum razors and I do not get along.

Thank you, Clint. I forgot to comment that you've kept that raw Olivewood handle looking new as well. That is no easy feat.

Thanks, Joe--I'm certainly more used to heavier razors. Put a light one in my hands, and I fall back on my plastic cart/disposable days... too much pressure. :D

I was tuning in when a new guy, Mitchell(?), was around and saying they were getting back on track. I'll go check out their website. The tobacco bay splash was wonderful. I'll stock up if it comes back.

    :shocked003: That would peel me.
Even at .5 it's not very mild. But it will shave, a Rockwell Model T at 1 does nothing.
I've moved from aggressive/efficient as I can take to seeking the most comfortable BBS in three passes.
I came to realize that as the hair grows every which way on several parts of my head and neck, that no matter how aggressive a razor I try I will need 2 + touchups or 3 passes or even 3+ to get an even and hopefully BBS shave. So I must go 3 if I want BBS, why chase the maximum in 1st pass?

    jluc smelling pretty

I do three pass shaves and those three passes consist of six different directions just to get near BBS. Like you my facial hair grows every which way.

Congrats on the new razor, Blair! You currently own the widest straight razor on the 30DC. Mad Max has been dethroned. Lol! That's a nice shave, my friend! How did it feel maneuvering that super wide body?
