Yup... sounds like a plan I am going to try them in something else other than an old style. I dunno why I put a new blade in a somewhat aggressive razor.... Actually Dom, it was one of my cheapest pens (something like 1.99 on eBay as I recall... but one of my better looking pens - the Jinhao X750) Guess what... I am typing this from my home computer. it isn't dead!!!! Odd enough, the problem appears to be the memory which was one of the first things that I checked. I had recently donated a 2GB of memory to my wife's computer and took one of her old 1/2 GB sticks. I assumed that the 1/2 GB would have been the issue if it was memory. Nope, my fast 2GB stick is giving errors. So now I am running on 1/2 GB of SLOW memory. But I am running. Oh well.. much cheaper than replacing the whole shebang. Wait.... did someone say pics of buttered buns?

unfortunately, I haven't had much experience installing/multi-booting with Win7 yet (Win7 heretofore be know as Super Windows ) My laptop is triple booting Win7RC, WinXP, and Ubuntu, but I had it triple-booting with Vista, XP, and Ubuntu before I installed 7 over Vista, but I'd imagine the steps to be the same as with Vista. Have you tried formatting the entire HDD and reinstalling?
I did when I installed 7. I dont want to because I have to reinstall everything. I got 7 reinstalled just trying to fix the old install.
