    Blair, I hope you don’t mind, but I sent a pic of your handle modification to my son, Ben who just began shaving with his new Kamisori DX, after several years with the SS Kamisori model, now in my possession along with the western version. My son is encouraging me to use the Kamisori to shave my head saying that’s what Buddhist monks used. If I ever try an open edge on the dome, itkll be pretty far down the line. Great shave report and photo!

    Beautiful photo, Bruce--lovely lemon/lime look coming from the sum total of your gear! :D

    That Blackland Sabre is gorgeous! I mainly used the CVS carbon steel blades when I was shaving with a 1912 and MMOC--great blades! The SS blades are great as well. In fact, they both worked so well that I never did get around to trying the PTFE coated ones that everyone raves about :happy102:

    Now that is a royal shave--and a very cool razor, Gustav or no. I remember the Klar Kabinett rose from earlier in the year. Not normally a fan of rose (usually comes off kind of synthetic), but your review of it back then totally had me sold. Glad to see it back out of the den. Awesome report, Joseph! :D

    And a huge thanks for kicking off the month of July for us!

    Great shave, Maestro, with software rare and sought after! That Klar Kabinett is unobtainium Category now, is it not? Great shave And pic with the expected lather porn!
