Simpson Chubby 1 /Maggards 2band Williams Mug Soap Occams-Enoch Kai CT Mild-Pink [ 3 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Was rather on the fence with this Razor, as Shaves with though nice enough the finish could be somewhat inconsistent. Now have 3 consecutive consecutive Shaves without any problems, and all with an excellent close finish.

SE SOTD, Wed, July 1st 2020 Razor: Gem Micromatic open comb, Bumpless variant-Mfg 1930-32 excellent mid> range razor. Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (10) excellent blade, very sharp, longevity, cost effective, very predictable blade IMO. Soap: Barrister & Mann Seville- great scent and good lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi timberwolf whiskers 24mm synthetic- very good brush to bowl lather and excellent brush qualities,soft tips Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pick ups. Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch Hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea balm. Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Gem MMOC bumpless razor. Have some great shaves!
Williams Wednesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Williams Mug Soap Jayaruh #413 Two-band badger GEM Flying Wing GEM Stainless CWR Granddad's Blend AS The Williams Mug Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #413 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Flying Wing with a GEM Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Love that razor. I'm looking at getting an Ever Ready lather catcher. How does she shave? I mostly use a straight razor but I love the looks of the lather catchers.
It’s a pretty mild razor. Feels like some of the GEM models like a Pushbutton or Featherweight. I think an Ever Ready is equivalent with the Superior.

I was thinking of passing this on, but will not now be in a hurry to do so.
