Hey Joe, I didn’t want an us and them kind of thing! Just being illustrative! I’m very pleased with my open edge progress, but my biology is such that I now realize I’ll never be able to muster up the delicacy of touch necessary to reach the levels you, Joe, and Keith experience with every shave. Even with the weights there remains some level of micro tremors on my part. So, no, I’ll probably never be a regular part of the SR group here. I’ll be very happy with advanced apprentice/ jr journeyman status. Can I petition for mascot status?

Great shave, Gary! I chuck my DE blades after two shaves, but I know other Suneko fans who are getting 6-8 shaves and others claiming many more. Apparently, Suneko attempted to recreate a modern version of the hallowed Personna 74 coating. The Suneko people write about a diamond Nano coating. May just be hype, but might be fun to test it! Remember,my first TSD friend, God never presents us with anything we are not equipped to handle. One door shuts and another opens! All the best to you and yours! Enjoy the weekend!

Already been there and done that. The hacking part I mean!. I really respect the SR brotherhood, but there truly are physical limits to what one can do, and I have to learn to live with mine. My shavette shave today was excellent, but I found myself having to extend a finger from my skin stretching hand to further stabilize my weighted forearm. The shave was the best thus far, but getting there was no fun. I think I’ll probably be jumping in every now and then with a SR shave, but the process itself will never be physically enjoyable just because of my danged biology.

 

Believe it or not, it’s rented through the end of September! Why anyone would rent in July and August is beyond me, but hey, whatever floats your boat. The bride and I love it there in October through December. If we need a house sitter I’ll put you on the list!

Fabulous shave, Maestro! If you want cold, then Osage Rub’s the ticket! Stirling’s Glacial soaps are cooling, but OR is the icing on the cake! Enjoy your weekend!

 

at least you participate...i respect the SR crowd for the passion they have in doing it.i have no interest in it personally.they look cool.as a guy who never experienced de shaving when it was the norm i get to time travel every time i use one of my shiny beauties.plus i like a more modern approach..just because i like fords doesn't mean i'll own a model T..
