I hope you sleep well tonight. I wasn't able to sleep most of last week and it killed me.

daughter swears both were in its cage when we left this AM, after feeding them, and come home this afternoon to one missing. many theories postulated, many possibilities counted, but it ultimately came down to the cat spending extraordinary amount of time staring at daughter's closet doors...this after much time spent all over in her room, some in my son's room, then all over the house - opened the closet doors and the cat immediately went in (it typically jumps back when you open them and cautiously approaches a few moments later). Ah ha, a clue...
some digging around in the stuffed animal-filled closet....

and, do you remember that part in Jurassic Park 3, where they find the visitor center and go walking around, and Téa Leoni's character drool) walks past the display tubes where dinosaurs of various development stages are displayed?
And the one suspiciously perched velociraptor head is sitting in one, like it's on display, but then the eyes move?
I move a box, and see this little stuffed animal and think how real it looks...then it runs back under the box I just moved...

some squealing from my daughter, and some back and forth trying to catch the little rodent later, it's back in its (well inspected for any signs of possible escape places - none to be found) cage, and back to somewhat normal.

meh.

 

I feel so dirty now....

Mornin'. These days going back and forth to Annapolis just got sooooooo much longer with the time change. Looks like they are going to be sending me to Altoona, PA sometime early next year. That will be another one of those jobs where I will stay out there from Manday to Thursday, and will only be home on the weekends. Not looking forward to it AT ALL!! But, that is where the $$ is, and my kids like to eat.

This reminds me of looking for my nieces hamster with her dad. If it makes you feel any better at least your daughters hamster didn't chew a hole through the plastic cage then into the drywall, like my nieces hamster did. It was kinda like Shawshank redemption at the towards the end of the movie.
I suggest metal cages and not to but the cage against any drywall.

from the game cast I had to keep up with online it seemed like they did, but it's hard to tell without seeing the action

Normally, with the fall back time change I'm full of extra energy because the wall-clock now more closely resembles my internal clock... but this year for some reason, I just can't seem to get caught up on rest.

 

Wow, just posted a new thread that is actually about shaving! I'm not sure what to do now.
