    Sunday's Shave

    AutoStrop VC4
    Feather FHS-10 (2)
    WCS Beacon Synthetic
    PAA Chel (pre shave)
    PAA DSS Dixie Soap and Aftershave

    The weather is wonderful today and for me, this is one of the best soap/AS sets for days such as this one. When PAA re-released this set last year, I knew I had to get it. It's a complex scent that I find extraordinary. Maybe it's the fact that I spent the first 2/3 of my life living in Alabama that I may be a bit biased towards this set, but I find I am also able to easily pick out the individual scents of the fragrance. It may be the familiarity of the scents that makes it possible for me to do this too. The CK-6 soap base leaves a great post shave face feel that is just icing on the cake.

    After a pre shave application of the Chel, I finished with a cooling, smooth 2 pass DFS and no irritation from the AutoStrop VC4.

    Wonderful shave, Maestro! I’ve always liked Astra blades and have several tucks lying around. I don’t use them as frequently as I should!
