Did it? I'm kind of surprised.

I didn't even know there was a vote going on yesterday!

Apparently, there were some changes to the state constitution on that ballot too. I might have voted, had I known about it.

 

Yeah... the constitution amendments were confusing as heck, but the good thing is the Atlanta Middle School bond election passed! yeah for my wife who has been teaching in that dump for too long. They've needed a new school for 20 years.

what were the amendments? some of us weren't invited to vote this time around :mad:

20 years, huh? that would have given me two years to edumacate myself in a nice new building

there's all kinds of comments about it on FB....lots of people saying stuff like "it's about time", or "I can't believe they didn't pass it 3 years ago"....

...and I'm being sure to, at the moment, lightly hint at some of the reasons why...
...hopefully they all tread lightly around my comments, and don't poke at them lest the floodgates let loose

 

Well, Jim. Advertising the elections didn't help, so this time they tried NOT advertising it. Seriously though, when are voting days EVER well publicized events... except for presidential elections.
