    The PBS AiW crossover...

That is, the Pearls Before Swine/Alice in Wonderland crossover, all in one shot:

(The opening sequence is from Larry being captured and mistakenly put in the zoo, mistaken to be a new species of Croc (Crocus Lazybuttus) and winds up being the main draw as a beer drinking, couch potato crocodile. then...)

It is very possible that the whole distraction girl stuff is just to distract us from the actual plot that is a foot. Well the plot isn't actually a foot... that would be odd and it wouldn't get much done if it were just a anatomical foot... now if were a hand it could be Thing....

    Ummm... what were we discussing?

    you must use the force.......

actually, as bizarre as it sounds, we haven't talked in a couple of days, when I had an question of ethics for Micah...and regarding that question, I did play it safe and make adequate back-ups :happy102

Come to think of it, there was that one time I woke up in a room filled with pumpkin pie flavored goodies that I don't remember buying. Hmmm....

...and then you became coherent, and found me yelling at you for sleep-walking to the Pumpkin Cave and eating all the pumpkin pie flavored goodies I bought! :happy097

    oh yeah, forgot to mention:

got a Duluth Trading catalog in the mail yesterday - I'd never heard of 'em before, that I can recollect anyway - was flipping through it before I chunked it in the trash, and something stood out...a picture of a shave brush in a stand!
Perhaps it's just a nostalgic image while they sell something else?
It wasn't a picture, it was kinda cartoonish....
    crap, here's the image:

Some reading on...nope, that thar be a Edwin Jagger badger hair brush! They also sell EJ shave mug, cream, Ogallala bay rum, alum blocks, ...

    pretty cool

Hi everyone. Thanks for all of the well wishes. I feel like a pansy being taken out by the flu, while Fuzzy talks about going fishing after just having to have his apendix taken out.
I did finally go to the doctors today. It is the flu, and a sinus infection, and aggravated asthma. I have been able to manage asthma since junior high without an inhaler, but apparently it doesn't pair well with respiratory flu.

I am strangely comfortable with that. ;)

Anyone see Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day yet? I loved the original, but so far the new one is only regional. It's a shame that Defoe isn't in it, but it looks like it has potential.

Rodd, hope you're better soon. So, I must admit, today turned out to be a very good day. I even got a few moments out side at the end of my work day to work on my latest bow. I don't have any telling pics, but I'll share when I take some showing the bow bending.

If you haven't seen "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" pull it up on Hulu.
45 minutes and 25 seconds well spent.

A little fishing story for you folks. My Grand Dad had a round with colon cancer in his early 70's. After the surgery to remove part of his colon he started his Chemo In Jackson MS. He would get up early, hook the boat behind his Van and head into Jackson. Almost 2 hours as I recall from home. After his treatment he would drive to Natchez lake and fish the rest of the day. He did this on a fair number of the days he had to go for his chemo.

Rodd hope you are feeling better every minute. Was a busy day here, then nap time for me. Did not get on line much.

I see there was waste of a good barbershop quartet up there. I love to listen to those. Those guys would make a good one me thinks.

    Not much else going on.
    How's the y'all?

Are you sure? I am getting ready to go to work... Although only for a few hours if things go well.

Yup! Excellent viewing. However, it is because of the sing-a-long blog that I ended up watching The Guild (female lead in the blog writes and is major part of the The Guild)

Excellent, Good luck with that one!

Thanks - it is isn't complete, but it is better than nothing. I should share that with the wife, those were her favorite part of Animaniacs. I would place it just below Pinky & the Brain and the Wheel of Morality...

Wheel of Morality turn turn turn... tell us the lesson that we shall learn.....

Wheel of Morality turn turn turn... tell us the lesson that we shall learn.....

And today's lesson is even when you are sick or have major surgery/medical treatments - don't forget that it is the simple joys in life (laughing, fishing, hunting, wood working, etc..) that can help more than anything else.

    Thanks for sharing!

Honestly, I feel like total s**t!! Woke up this morning with a high fever, again. Dizzy and my head is pounding. If this gets much worse, I am going to have to call someone to take me to the hospital.

    How you be?

The me is better actually.. well except we almost lost the cat this morning. Dang thing jumped up into my bed and got a claw into my foot. I sat up real fast, which did not at all feel very good, to see what was attacking. She got out of the room before I got to the shotgun beside the bed. My gut is till hurting from sitting up like that.

Sorry to hear you are feeling bad again. I think I prefer what I been dealing with (other then the catheter for surgery) then what you have.
