    Excellent shave, Jim! I see nothing wrong with adding more soap because you didn't add enough for 3 passes. Sometimes, I have had to go back to the puck to replenish the lather because it wasn't enough or it dissipated.

    I have never tried rose. My lavender soap is not a sweet scent and I like it, but I think the rose would be too strong, a feminine scent for my liking.

    Fine shave, Andrew! Rockwell razors are great. Although I use Rockwell blades in my shavettes and DE razors, their quality is not up to the brand's razors. I get very nice shaves with the blades, but most shavers don't really like them.

    A nice 3 pass shave earlier this morning. Love this new scent and the match with the splash is very good. Everything worked as it should, but the blade was binned right afterwards. Probably one shave too many on it. I do feel like an Emperor with this great, loud, efficient, cool-looking (imho) MonoBilt.

    Maestro, I always enjoy your posts, although the olfactory components are generally beyond me! Your kit blade holders and straight razors always look like you just picked them up from a showroom.

    Great shave summary and photos, Andrew. Green Vetiver Is a splash I don’t own. I really like Vetiver, and own the MDC soap and the Fine Fresh Vetiver. How does the Green compare to the Fresh? Anyone?
