    Wonderful shave and report, Jim! Glad to see that the brush is starting to break in a bit. Those drilled/defined scallops on the baseplate of the Rocnel are really cool! :D

    I found that profile intriguing, but the gasoline element has me nervous. Pretty sure the Missus would shoot it down anyhow, and as the Missus goes, so goes the soap choices ;)

    Beautiful photo, and awesome report, Clint! Shame about the HC Dubl Duck underperforming. It's a gorgeous brush. Perhaps a bit of time will straighten her out :D

    Thanks, Jeff! I have a sample of the Fresh Vetiver to compare to the Green, but I don't know it well enough to describe it to you.

    I’ve read the same complaint about the Heritage Collection Gelled brushes on some of the FB shave sites. Glad that the shave did work out at least!

    Great looking kit, Jason!
    I'm not sure I know what Vetiver smells like. I'm pretty sure I have a few soaps and splashes with it listed as a scent note but I don't know enough about it to pick it out.

    I have a Heritage Collection gelled boar, no issues. It's the gelled boar from TnS that are giving Clint and I troubles.

    Very nice, Jim. The Bergamot Lavender is an underrated scent. I got a splash sample in a larger trade, didn't think I'd like it and had it grow on me. Your experience with that boar knot mirrors mine with one of my Zeniths to a T.
