    Fantastic shave, report, and progress, Jeff! VBBS is an incredible accomplishment with a Kamisori/shavette on a 2 pass shave! Takes me 3 passes at least, and even then I usually opt to walk away from some residual roughness on the chin rather than chase the baby. A born natural! :D

    Well, should a time traveler from the late 1800's appear at my home in need of a shave, I have both Williams and Erasmic to ensure they have familiar soaps.

    I picked up a sample of Bergamot Lavender and thought it was just ok. I took it with me on vacation to use it up and it really grew on me. As you see I now have the full size set.
    My gelled boar seems to be getting a little better with each use. I'm hoping the trend continues.

    I do as well. A Polsilver in my shavettes is indistinguishable from a Derby Extra. Not so when I use a DE. Vi-Johns were the only exception (Big Ben experience for me).

    Great report and shaves, David! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person who likens the scent of Arko to Ivory soap. They smell exactly the same to me :D

    I have only used Polsilvers and Voshkods and they were superior over the Rockwell blades. I am fine with the Rockwell blades, but paying 15 cents a blade was a little too much for the quality. I have about 70 blades left and that will last me a few more years before I try a different blade.
