Great shave and a very nice-looking brush, Patrick! That's terrible that it's shedding and you haven't broken it in yet.

Thank you, Tim! I appreciate your acknowledgement, but you still had others who also made great suggestions that you put into play. You did the work and now you will always have a skill that most guys would never try, let alone be proficient. You will find that straights are very easy to use because of your experience with shavettes.

Jeff, the Genco looks mint! It is an American brand that was made in NY. They are considered very good razors.

I am glad to hear your Daughter in Law is doing ok. At least you go to spend some time with Nate. Great shave report Jeff.

Wonderful Vetiver shave Andrew. Plus, that brush is just freaking cool.

Lovely lavender shave Joseph. Oxford & Cambridge is a wonderful soap. I am sad to see it discontinued.

    Thanks Jim!

Thanks !This is a Canadian model. Leftover parts I believe from what I've researched. My Gs are nowhere near as agressive as this thing Jeff.

    Thanks Andrew!

Thank you Joe. It's the gel treatment that is making this boar knot misbehave. Hopefully it breaks in and works better. Otherwise this knot is history.

Very cool razor and brush Jason. I ordered the Desert Vetiver soap and Fine Green Vetiver from IB yesterday.

Thank you Tim. Jim is having the same break-in with his knot.

Thank you Jeff. This knot is from Turn N Shave. My guess is all gel boars have a similar issue with breaking in.

    Thank you Gary.

I don't know about that, but I have been wet shaving longer than many of the 30DC crew have been walking the planet or at least we’re in nappies. Plus the Feather Proguard blade was definitely a player.

Great shave report, Gary! I personally prefer my VC4 to my VC3, but YMMV. Gorgeous photo; that razor is pristine!.

Thanks, Jason. She’s fine; she gave birth to two premature twin girls at 26 weeks three weeks ago. They're both in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). Just some issues with the Caesarian incision. All is well.
