Thanks, Tim, although I'm not sure what you mean by 'dark sider'?

Wonderful shave and report, Joe! That brush is a great match for the scales on your Dovo! :D

Great shave, Maestro! I like Mike's Lavender as well. Is your Feather AC Barber's Razor the wood handled model?

Great photo and kit, Jim! Glad the brush is working out for you! Doesn't sound like Clint is having the same experience.

Folks who've joined the dark side with straights tend to go full throttle with their adjustable razors. ;)

Thanks, Tim! I'm still an apprentice open edge shaver. But I must say, I am beginning to enjoy it! I just wish I didn't have to weight my forearms, but what is is!

So good to hear from you, Charlie. Glad that things are getting better each day. Continued prayers my friend.
Thank you, Tim. I have a good feeling about the brush. So far I've only face lathered with it, I'll have a go with bowl lathering tomorrow.
    Thanks, Jeff!

I’m surprised at how much fun it is, Gary! I had done some real damage to myself 5 yrs ago with the very straight I used today. Those forearm weights make all the difference in the world!

Thanks Jeff! I strop 40 to 60 laps depending on the razor.

Thanks, Tim! The brush is my #1 favorite and it really whips up a great lather. The Dovo Special is really a good production razor for a newbie.

Just think of it as getting forearm exercise while you are straight shaving.
