I'm like I saw someone say further back on the thread in that I enjoy a good cigar, but tend to want to go outside for it. My brand of choice is a Partagas Black. While I have enjoyed a nice Pyramid, I always fall back on the little Prontos. Usually have a tin of them in my humidor. They're small and a good 30 minute, give or take, relaxing time out on the patio.

Our shelter in place starts tomorrow. Stopped in the cigar shop before it closed and picked up a My Father's Cigar Flor De Las Antilas.

This had been in my humidor, for about 15 years. It has had the humidity at an ideal setting, the entire time. This is a full bodied, and smooth smoke, with a very light draw. It burns evenly, and holds the ash together, tightly.

The last cigar I smoked was a Quorum, a cheap after work type smoke.
The best cigar I ever had was an Avo Heritage that was humidor cured. I didn’t want it to end.

Aroma Room Quattro and a Highland Brewing Oatmeal Porter.

The Aroma Room won some top cigar of 2019 awards and I see why. The Highland Brewing Company is regional to us, and their oatmeal porter pairs very nicely with this cigar.

I recently got this Rocky Patel cigar box with a textured finish. I could've left it alone for a desk top humidor, but I just had to do some work on it. I put another coat of black paint on it as there were some areas showing the wood underneath. I also painted the bare wood on the inside areas. Then I added a few clear coats to seal the finish. I removed the paper that was on it, especially on the inside where there was a large label on the inside cover. I had to soak it really good with water and gently scraped it off. I like the magnetic closure that it has. The first three pics of how I got it...............

The following two pics of it finished. For the top, I added that type of vinyl flooring that simulates wood into the recessed area. It will hold eight Torpedo or Toro size cigars, with some Corona or Lonsdale cigars on top. It should hold a full bundle of Corona or Lonsdale cigars. I also added a Spanish cedar divider to keep a humidifier in place................

A few days ago, I received this Bombay & Co. humidor. I gutted it out and re-lined it in Spanish cedar. It'll now hold fourteen Toro size cigars, or a full bundle, plus a few extra, Corona cigars...............

If you like medium-full flavored cigars, especially with Nicaraguan tobaccos, Man O' War would be a great choice. Very tasty............
