    The TSD Iced Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Tom's B400 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher with a Vintage GEM Cutlery SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    My Canadian Pride shave!

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash

    Super Speed/Wilkinson day 9
    First Canadian Polar Vortex SS
    Gold Bond Moisturizer
    Max Refreshing AS Splash

    It’s been easily over two years since I’ve used this Polar Vortex soap and I decided to go with it this morning. It’s made in Hamilton, Ontario and it’s got a very plain “nothing special” scent which is mainly menthol with soapy notes, it lathers like a champ, and it’s very cooling - in fact so cooling that it rates around 8/10 on my personal Menthol Scale. The slickness and skincare however, are unfortunately not to my satisfaction although I’ve seen worse. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so cooling as well as soothing, and the Max Refreshing aftershave smells great and it’s loaded with menthol. The Wilkinson blade helped to give me a brilliant BBS shave and it’s lasted for nine days which is so unusual for me.
