I asked him the same thing a while back... I think he's been busy at work and with "life" stuff. Just taking a little break from forums.

Maybe gothic vampire is a traditional vampire as opposed to the more modern vampire in the Twilight and other current vampire series?

sorry to hear about the long night.. Is the cheek bothering or just a rough night in general?

Things are fine here at the moment. Its another busy week at work and I am still waiting to hear about my evaluation. I was observed about two weeks ago and they are usually quicker about those conferences than that. I am not worried, but I just want it out of the way.

We have a conference at my daughter's school tonight (yearly case review for her IEP). If it goes like all the other conferences, we will leave ticked off at the school and each other. I hate being in the position of the parent in those conferences when I have to turn around and work with these people professionally later. Wife will get upset at me at some point because I see the school's side and try to intermediate too much. So it will be a crappy night I am sure.

To be honest, with all the Twilight mania and its spill-over, I for one am sick to undeath of vampires.

I'm about to have my fill of zombies, too. Pretty soon, once Wolfman comes out, it'll be werewolves... I'm sort of dreading it, just because I hate that the over-saturation is making them seem uncool to me. I never would have thought I'd think vampires weren't cool, but dang, angsty teenagers have just about ruined them for me.
