    Razor - Rockwell 6S (#6 plate)
    Blade - Gillette Rubie
    Brush - JR 113
    Soap - CRSW Le Chypre Sombre
    Stirling Orange Chill Witch Hazel
    A/S - Old Spice (newer stuff)


    The Gillette Rubie continues to impress. Guessing about 15-ish shaves on it now…? Still smooth, still sharp. The sharpness might be dropping off a tad. We’ll see how far it goes - maybe one more shave, maybe more. This is far more for curiosity sake, rather than cheapness. Gillette blades are generally very good. Normally I don’t get caught up in blade selection, however this Rubie has been a standout so far.

    The CRSW Le Chypre Sombre has a wonderful scent, and unfortunately has been long discontinued. Delightful lather from CRSW’s soaps too.

    All in all…a Ridiculously Awesome Shave once again.

    Thank you, Jeff! All my shaves used to be rushed shaves, so the occasional hurried one is a nice reminder of how my views on shaving have shifted :D

    Thank you, Clint! Hope you recovered from the pressure washing--that is an insane amount of work. Did they insist you blast a couple millimetres off the surface to expose newer cement? ;)
