Well not to bad at work tonight. Face seems to be past the hurting stage. I used my 1911 Gem to shave with.. was fun working around the incision.

    How's the Y'all?

Hey Fuzzy, glad to hear the pain is less. You gonna use an SE to remove the stitches when the time comes?

I'm doing good tonight. Practicing learning new tricks. Switched from an old guy's phone to a young guy's phone and am remembering how much I dislike bundled software apps..

Bill, I'm sad to learn about your friend. I lost a close friend a few years back in a rollover one car accident (he was a deputy sheriff). I'll be keeping Dave and his family (and his friends) in my prayers.

    Morning all.
I dunno what's wrong with me lately...perhaps the time change threw me off, but I can't sleep much past 5pm and that makes getting through the night a bit challenging.
I'm on pot o' coffee 2.0 and still have two and a half hours to go here at work.

    Wheee. :eatdrink013

    Morning everyone

Still in shock that things went so well at yesterday's conference. I keep going through things in my mind trying to figure out what happened and what we missed/what they slid into the deal that we missed.

Fuzzy, glad to hear the face isn't hurting too bad and you are getting to have fun shaving around it.

Jason, no experience with that phone, and I can't say that I have ever been happy with Verizon. But I probably wouldn't like any phone carrier either.

Take a moment to thank your Veterans today!

another morning...still funk'd...but am dang proud of and tremendously appreciative of our veterans (and future veterans).

hard to stay funkified when I think of what they/you've done to serve this country and protect the freedom and statutes that this nation is built upon.
the sacrifices made, courage found, discipline maintained, and honor deserved cannot possibly be fully shown by a single day of the year set aside to remember and reflect.

I pray that the service they have provided will never end up being in vain, and that men of character and heart and nobility continue to serve and stand for what this nation is, despite what the detractors - foreign and domestic - believe.

I'm terrible with words, but just know that God has blessed this nation, because it was founded by Godly men and women, and based upon Godly principles, not as a theocracy, but as a nation that recognizes God. There are many that believe otherwise, and that's their decision, and they have the freedom to believe so - that's part of what our veterans have served and fought and sacrificed to provide us.

Despite it's problems, there is tremendously more good than bad, and I'm proud to be an American, I love this country, and I salute (as a civilian) our men and women of the Armed Forces.

God Bless America, Bless God America

Thank you, Vetrans. There are many of you that are now gone that I'll be thinking of today. For those of you in here, hope you have a good shave today and that people give you respect and love today and always.

On another note, I probably should have kept my big mouth shut in that other thread...

Thanks, Jim - you're right. I'm pretty thick skinned, but that got to me for some reason. Good for you for restating it in a better light. Thanks.
