While this was an excellent shave, fit for an Emperor, I think not.
Let's begin with the French soap.
Lathers well and needs quite a bit of water.
Tends to dry out quickly during the pass.
    Pleasant enough scent.
    Post-shave below average.
    Face felt quite dry afterwards.
The DD was more than competent and except for directly under my nose,
successfully removed all traces of stubble.
    No mis-steps.
The best part of the shave was the refreshing, tingling feel of Alt Innsbruck.
This is some classy juice and the menthol is just right.

The ladies have given me several WSP soaps. The soap tins are small and compact but heavy filled with 4.7 ounces of soap. Comparing the tins to other artisan soaps you can tell you’re buying soap and not water. In that sense it similar to MdC. Both are very concentrated and easy to lather. The WSP Formula T is slicker with a much better post shave feel. I really like WSP.

    Thank you.

I'm testing. My dermatitis does not help.
    Great mechanics, fabulous lather.
I'm not sure about skin conditioning.
I'm sure I do not like the fragrance.

I get that. The cotton ball test. Not sure my BBS would always pass that. Today would.

Superb shave setup, Joseph! The Dubl Duck looks to be in great condition. Each time I see the Alt-Innsbruck, it moves just a bit closer to the top of my "want to buy" list. Do you spray the AS directly on your face, or do you spray into your hands and then rub it into the face? I see the bottle is offered with and without the atomizer. How is the scent longevity?

Thank you Joseph. You are correct. The greener more vibrant scent works much better in the summer. I love the more earthy scent but it just feels made for the cooler month.

It's easy to do nice pics.
