  2. Happy Tuesday
  3. Thanks, Maestro, but I’ve shaved my head before with it, and it delivers a surprisingly great, irritation-free shave. The one razor I would think twice about using regularly on the dome is my Barbasol FH. That razor is much more prone to biting than the R41.
  4. That's a very nice shave, Jim!

  6. Maestro, your kit is always a nice mixture of elegance and empirical savoir faire! I have the same razor except my blade has a square toe. Lovely report, I truly enjoy them!
  7. That's a fine shave, Joe! Pray that your wife is on a quick mend. Enjoy the day!
  8. Thank you, Jim.

It was a present by my friend Enzo. (Bat71)
The shape is unusual, but It's very ergonomic.
And It's a soft cloud on the face.

  10. Thanks, Clint! It’s an excellent shaver! I prefer it over my old Dovo. It does appear that I’m beginning to accumulate Straights. I can say, however that I still haven’t spent dime 1. You’re a finance guy, barter doesn’t count, right? Just trying to make myself feel better! :(
  11. Thank you, Jeff.
In the words of my friend, It comes from the heart.
The design represents my personality, in his eyes.

  14. That's sn awesome shave with an awesome razor, Jeff! I use a "wetter" lather when I straight shave, too. It's about the slickness, not the thickness that is crucial to a straight shave. My lathers are more voluminous when I use my safeties.
  15. When it comes to elegant gear, I should be taking lessons from you Mark! Have a nice day!
  16. Excellent shave Joseph! I like square points because you can clean up inside the nostrils. You can't do it with round points.

Pulled out the Occam's razor this morning. All 3 baseplates are really good, but I do have a slight preference for this full scalloped one. Loaded up a fresh Polsilver, whipped up an exceptional SV lather in a great scent and had 3 easy passes. I am quite smooth with drama-free results. An excellent razor, no question.
    Have a great day all!
  18. Nice, Jason! Such a great looking razor.
  19. Wonderful shave and picture, Jason!

  20. Very nice, Jim. Sounds like that razor is continuing to impress. Making a dent in that soap at all? Looks like tonnes of juice left. You may be on that focus for awhile.
