  1. Sounds like a great scent in that splash for sure, Joe. I trust the doctor's visit will go well for your wife today. Have a good pool day!
  2. Thank you, Jason.
The Carbon is a terrific razor. I'm glad I added it to the collection.
Today was only the fifteenth use of the soap. If I'm making a dent it's not visible yet.

  3. Sounds like a great gift, Clint. Congrats! Your family certainly gets you some nice shaving gifts.
A great pic today as well. With how much grunt labour and funds expenditures in your yard recently, I thought we may see a few inside the house pics...:eatdrink047:
  4. Barter certainly keeps the costs down. I would use that argument as well.

  8. You fellas have been busy. It took awhile to catch up. Whew. Anyway, some great shaves and banter, as usual!

    Tuesday’s shave:

    Razor - Blackland Blackbird
    Blade - Gillette Rubie….still
Brush - The brush formally known as “Ol’ Shedder”
Soap - Grooming Dept. “Chypre Conifere”
    A/S - CL Unconditional Surrender

Geez….another stupidly incredible shave with the same Rubie. This has been an “Energizer Bunny” of a blade. Guessing about 17 full shaves on it, including a number of shaves on the back of the neck. Yesterday it was moved over to the Blackbird, and performed flawlessly. Today, maybe a slight amount of reduction in smoothness going ATG. Maybe. Could’ve been in my head too. Either way, for science, it deserves another go.

Just a drama free shave, with some great soap - and a nice dose of Unconditional Surrender “just because”.
