Awesome shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

I started this morning's shave with full intentions of using a steep angle but my mind kept wandering and muscle memory took over. Maybe tomorrow.

Up today is new shave soap and aftershave. Since Antiga Barbearia de Bairro is made in Portugal, I thought I would use my Semogue boar along with the soap. The soap is very hard so the 150g should last a very long time. I found the soap to be very easy to load and lather much like MdC. The soap is lightly scented with a citrus opening over a wood and spice base. I will note that the soap has lanolin so the post shave feel is very good without feeling oily. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. The Antiga Chiado aftershave paired well with the soap. It has the same citrus notes over spice and wood. The scent is stronger than the soap but not over the top. Think more SV aftershave scent strength than PAA aftershave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
