@jgreenepa has a few years on me, but I have been known to remind youngsters in my profession that I was a journeyman lithographer before they were wiping their butt.

It is not a beloved comment to their sensitive ears.

Perhaps he should check out Alice’s Restaurant.

I've never used a Feather SS.

In my research, there were enough folks bothered by the 'bump' in the profile that I avoided it.

I think you can use a lower shaving angle with the DX.

I believe the Schick 'B' series Prolines were introduced for a 'barber's razor they introduced in Japan to compete with the Feather Artist Club razors.

The 'B' blades have a larger corner radius than other injector blades.

The title of the soap tells it all. I don't go to stag parties.

Thank you Jim! It's been awhile since I've used this razor.

Stirling Christmas Eve is a nice novelty scent. Despite the name, I use it any time of the year.

Thanks gentlemen. We're having another good day. A Monday or Tuesday discharge from the hospital seems likely.

I've been enjoying my birth quarter Slim on 9 and my 2019 30DC LE brush most every morning. I swap out the Voskhod blade after three shaves. These are really smooth blades for me. I cannot even feel the first few strokes on a new one.

I brought some Mike's Natural Soap with me, but I've used Tabac exclusively for the past 8 weeks. All kidding aside, this soap consistently produces one of the best cushiony and slick lathers compared to all the different soaps and creams I've used. I routinely wash enough lather out of the brush for another pass or two. My current shave stick is a couple years old, so much of the scent is gone. I actually don't mind the scent, though. I associate it with fall and winter, but it's a year-rounder for me.

I miss my aftershaves and colognes since strong scents are discouraged 'round these parts. I'm laying in wait for WCS to restock Alt-Innsbruck. I plan to, ahem, stock up at my earliest opportunity. :)

I've been riding along as I can. It's great to see all the familiar and new faces.

    Smoothly,
    Danger

The Stirling Christmas Eve sounds like it would make a good candle scent.

I like the razor and a very nice shave to boot Bruce! It was a great Gillette day for us.

Excellent shave Andrew! You are shaver #3 that have used a Gillette outside of Gary. Gary @brit, hope you're feeling the love, today!

Bath and Body Works at SmithHaven Mall carries it. I was at the mall the other day, but that store was closed. I'm sure when they open up that they still will have it.

Thanks Joe! I own this one and a 1961 Fatboy and they both perform well. Rockwell blades are fine for me, but others may find them lacking performance. Getting a BBS above-the-shoulder shave with very little effort says it all.

Thanks, Bill! I'm really enjoying the SS. You were right, replaceable blades are the way to go. I have a magazine of the Proguards. My son called me a 'girly boy' and said he'll be dropping of a magazine of the new Feather Softguard blades. I'll still use a straight now and then, but mostly then. I'll need to ensure that my son will do the stropping and honing for me. I'm going to seriously look at the DX, work on the street is that it shaves more like a regular straight than the SS. So my initial investment is not going to be a straight, but rather a DX. Do you have both the Kamisori as well as the traditional version? I have enjoyed shaving with the Kamisori SS. I think I may do a 30 day focus using both the Kami and the regular SS. Hope all is well with you and yours.
