Very nice razor Jeff, you have some of the most interesting shaving razors I have seen displayed over the last few years! Thanks for sharing.

Sunday Schick shave, July 19th, 2020

    Razor:
Schick E2 Canadian variant- Mfg 1930's-40's, nice mid range with a little blade feel.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector- very sharp with great longevity and excellent cost per shave.
Soap: Tabac- great soap with its flowery clean scent that I like & excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Razorock noir 400 24mm synthetic-great lathering brush for all types of soaps and reminds me of a boar brush.
Pre-shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pick ups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG]Excellent shave with my E2 Canadian variant injector.

    Last night’s SOTN:

Razor: Fatip Lo Storto Origanale OC slant (FOCS)
Brush: Alpha T-400 SE with G4 knot
    Soap: TOBS Jermyn Street
    Pre-Shave Oil: TOBS
    ASB: Stirling Christmas Eve

First try of both the Lo Storto Origanale and the T-400 SE.

I really enjoyed using the OC slant. It’s a very smooth shave and, whilst having more blade feel than the Gentile, it often felt that no blade was present. I compared it directly against the Gentile on the 3rd pass and can confirm that that the Gentile feels a touch milder and is slightly draggier in use.

Onto the brush. There’s little I can say, other than this brush felt the closet I have ever felt a synthetic feel to a top-end Silvertip badger. It’s a great brush and I’m mightily impressed with it.

The FOCS felt like it’s every bit as good as the Gentile, and I thoroughly enjoyed using the brush. I really look forward to using them both again very soon.
