depends on how bad the action...if it's unsportsmanlike action, like spiking the ball, dancing, motioning to the crowd, etc, just a penalty...if it's more along the lines of personal foul, an intentional significant one, then it often results in ejection

also, I think fans should be ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct as well...general cheering and booing, that's fine. flipping off the refs, judgement call.
rooting against the Crimson Tide...ejection from all sports for 10 years
