Thanks, Gary! It has a few bent teeth, but I don't think it will affect the shave.

(in order of appearance) '40 (or is it '41?), '47, and '48-'49. I have a '51 also, but (1) it's old, (2) I don't have the case, and (3) it's still in Prairie Switch, Texas. I have an original cream dispenser, but it's there, too. Beautiful razors.

Gillette Slim adjustable Aristocrat. This one is a 1967 because it has a date code of M.

Corrected dates in order of pictures

    1st is correct either a 40 or 41
    2nd is a 46 - 48
3rd is a 48, the razor is a gold washed version of the razor in the US Aristocrat Jr. sets.
    4th if it has no date code then 1948 - 50 if it does then either a V3 1950 or 1951 - 1953.

I finally found one with the case at a price I think they should be valued at not the pie in the sky prices that have no bearing to other razors. Collector or user piece my one metric I use to price these razors without the case is it should cost almost the same as a standard nickel plated Slim adjustable + the cost of a gold replate of the razor. If it costs more it is not worth it period. Then the set the cost of that plus the case then.

very cool.i agree.the collector market is very inflated, the "gotta have it" mode feeds it as well..for me the razor is the most important part..

    Some notes on those dates

Here is an ad from Christmas of 47 showing the old banded style razor and older blade tray. There was overlap with this razor being sold along side the next 2 iterations of the Milord probably due to retailers selling off excess discontinued razors.
    47_dec_ad.jpg

Here is an ad from Jan. of 48 what can only be the 48 version with the rounded collar.
    48_jan_ad.jpg

Here is an ad from Mar. of 48 showing the new base plate versions with the hook style center bar for the speed pak blade loading without having to handle the blades. The older style razors were definitely not produced beyond this point since that change was applied to all US made Gillette razors regardless of style or set. The razors for the first 3 iterations of the Milord sets do not exist with the newer tabbed center bars so those style of handles and handle/collar config of the 48 never made it beyond this point from a production standpoint as Milord razors E.O.S.
