Thanks, Andrew, I never fail to get an excellent shave with an AC razor loaded with a Feather Super or Schick Proline.

A very busy and eventful morning and early afternoon here at the homestead. At least I was able to get a fantastic shave in before the day got up to full speed. I decided to try my hand at loading and face lathering with this TnS gel boar knot. The results were adequate but not nearly as good as scooping out the soap and bowl lathering. Despite enjoying the feel of the brush on the face, I am getting more sure that this knot will be replaced with something else soon. Despite the lathering issues, the shave was fantastic. This razor really works exceptionally well with a steeper shave angle. Three passes and touch ups ended in a wonderful BBS shave. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

I had a feeling that knot’s days were numbered based on your continuing dissatisfaction with it. The handle looks like it might support at least a 24mm knot. Great shave, Clint! Can’t ever beat a BBS!

Paul, it can definitely be used year around! It’s every menth head’s dream splash. Unscented, so it can support any scent you desire.

Excellent shave and gear Clint. It seems you gave it your best shot with the knot. It's a shame that it isn't working out for you.

Good for you Jeff. I guess some are not in mind of your views. I get great shaves for a variety of razors. For me, it comes down to technique, feel at the moment and concentration. With any given blade, DE, AC, or SE (Gem) if I waver in any of the aforementioned variables then the closeness and comfortability is impacted.

Thank you Jeff. The handle will support a 28mm knot so I need to decide what I will do in the future.

Thank you Joe. I tried but I am over fighting with the knot. I will get a replacement after I decide which knot I want.

I thought we were getting a dog instead of a small horse. His racing name was Pat C Blitz. Maya decided on Cody.
