    Thanks, Jeff! More than anything, I stumbled upon my pattern after trying a number of different ways...and it took awhile to get to this one. I’ve also learned that short strokes work better than longer strokes for me.
    I don’t buy into the nonsense that some razors “work better” than others. I think some people use that to justify buying more and/or higher end razors. I do believe that we all have areas of our face/neck that can provide a challenge, and knowing how to deal with those areas are key.

    If one understands their beard growth patter they can get a BBS with just about any razor. Technique trumps tools, but many tools are just prettier!

    Some time ago, I picked up one of those razors from the Dollar Tree, just for fun. It shaves just as well as any other razor in the stash. Yep, it feels cheap and flimsy. Still does the exact same thing, and does it just as well.
    So does a blade stapled or epoxied to a popsicle stick. It’s been done many times in this thread.
    Tell that to your buddies on the other forum. ;)

    I get good shaves with any one of my razors as long as I am fully awake. Some are more efficient than others. Also, their price ranges are very wide. Every razor that I possess has a different personality and aesthetic appeal. Do I have top favorites. Absolutely! However, I like them all. It's fun for me to have the opportunity to shave with any style of razor.
