Thanks, Charlie! Doing well, although I’m far from a straight shaver, although I’m becoming a definite fan of the Feather SS both folding and Kamisori. I’ve yet to experience a straight razor as sharp as a Feather Super!

Very nice Keith! That's a shame that your Wosty doesn't give you super shaves because it definitely is a nice looking razor. My two Wosties give me great shaves so I am quite surprised that your razor doesn't cut it. Yes, it was an intended pun.

Respectfully, I don’t believe I’m missing the point, a straight razor has a limited cutting angle just as a safety razor does. All the tutorials recommend a spine’s width distance for the optimal cutting angle and not to exceed 30 degrees, or instead of cutting one is scraping leading to irritation or cuts. Perhaps I’ve didn’t get your intent, but the information above is what I was referring to. Just wanted to qualify the data I was referencing. It’s the Old retired data scientist in me. I don’t mean to get into A wrangle. You’re a far more experienced straight shaver than I am. If I misstated you’re point, I apologize.

It's all good. Discussing divergent ideas on shaving concepts in a civil manner is part of the fun. As long as we are not sitting in our respective corners with our backs facing each other wearing dunce caps we are ahead of the game. It's all good Jeff.

When that happens, I guess you would use an unscented balm.

How satisfying, Perry! Good to hear from you. Personally, I think these plans to return teachers to the classroom are dangerous, and will lead to more Covid spikes. Stay safe and healthy!

Shave #1 with the Sharp Star and an endurance test.
I will use this blade, until I am compelled to "buff" to achieve at a minimum, a DFS shave.
Donkey Milk soap was truthfully, unbelievable today.
This stuff makes an incredible lather and while I am the type of latherer that
doesn't eschew over-loading, a 30-45 second load with a boar brush will create
more lather than even yours truly needs for a 3-pass shave.
    Hee-haw.
The Game Changer OC .84 is quite a feat of machinery.
Built rock-solid, this razor holds the blade super-securely and at a good angle for shaving.
    No complaints regarding this shave.
Finished with my infamous mentholated Florida Water.
    Shiver me timbers.

Edited to say DFS, rather than BBS.
