    May I answer for Keith? The barber's notch helps you lift the blade open instead of using the tail. I use the notch to secure the razor when I go south to north (fool's pass) on the mustache area.

    Good afternoon guys!

    Shavette Shave #183
    Dovo Shavette
    Personna Hairshaper (4)
    JR #386 Silvertip Badger
    Chiseled Face Cryogen SS and AS

    Well, it is another good shave with the Cryogen. Did not wet my face and dry dipped and dotted the brush 3 times. Dipped the tips in the cup of water and facelathered. The lather was not as great as yesterday's, but I attribute it to this brush's soft bristles. I should have tapped the brush 5x instead of three to get more soap. Suffice it to say, that I had enough for the shave. Achieved a near BBS on 2 passes and minor pickupts. Splashed on the aftershave and I am ready to go. I am at the halfway point with this experiment and so far so good. After 5 consecutive shaves and one trial lather, here is a picture of the soap: 20200728_104927.jpg

    good morning gents,tuesday shave.french tech loaded with a new to me sharp star blade,simpson provided the the fine unscented lather,bbs in 3 smooth passes.hollister waves edt to finish..awesome..fine blade indeed.have a great day everyone..

    No denying that I'm a fan of PAA. Wonderful performance, potent aftershaves, huge variety of scents and when a new scent is released there's plenty to go around.
