How many memories...
The climate this morning brings me back to half a century ago, when, in Padua, it was like living in a sauna. And back then, air conditioners were a luxury. And bulky too.

But now they're there and it makes everything more tolerable.
I remember I designed a car conditioner that wouldn't use energy or even have moving parts...

For someone who can't stand the heat and lived his childhood with a cold and apprehensive mother, it was a childhood to forget: she was cold and covered me!
But I know I'm not the only one who's been a victim of this syndrome.

A pleasant shave, but without history...

SE SOTD, Wed, July 29th 2020

Razor: Valet auto strop C1 Canadian variat- Mfg 1920's with modified gab, originally was .011 changed to .007 thousands of a inch, much smoother a shave with this great old relic.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (9)- Great blade and my favorite because it can also be used in these great old razors.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco- very nice strong citrus scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi rainbow brown whiskers,26 mm synthetic- excellent brush with reasonable backbone and soft tips.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch Hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = great shave with my Valet Auto-strop C1 variant.

Alpha Outlaw - OSP UKWSS 'Herb Garden' - Wabbit V2 - Personna SSC #1 - Williams Aqua Velva A/S - Aloe Vera Gel

1st shave with V2 of the UK passaround Wabbits with a Personna coated blade which delivered a great result. Albeit a small nick when I overdid the pressure.

Krect Spiral Curve mk1/Kai. Not as efficient as the Fatip slant but a bit more feedback and equally enjoyable.
