Firearms as well. It's amazing the number of farkles and doodads you can hang off of a gun.

I find it hilarious that the same people who complain I'm destroying razors are perfectly willing to use my made up words, 'slantify' and 'slantification,' as they rail against the horror of it all.

    If I still owned a backup Cooper, I'd try it. But I don't, so I won't.

Edit: Just out of curiosity, If I had a metal stamp made that said "F&W," would you guys want me to stamp the underside of the baseplate? I could fill in the letters with clear epoxy, so there wouldn't be any corrosion issues if the stamping compromised the plating. The stamp would be completely optional, and there would be no extra charge for doing so. I figure if people are going to get their dander up over "wanton destruction" I might as well give them something else to kvetch about.

@brit just informed me that he was willing to sell me another Cooper MonoBilt. So, with the peace of mind that should things go horribly wrong, I could replace it; I promptly bent my beloved MonoBilt.

And so now we know, Cooper is another brand that can be slantified.

I guess I know what razor I'm using for tomorrow's shave.

Interestingly, it came out very near the same geometry as the Valencia. I suspect that has to do with the thicker baseplate and top cap. It sticks a little bit on opening and closing, due to the torsion, but that was to be expected. The top cap did dimple slightly from the blade centering nubs, but since I used a piece of leather on top of the cap, I was able to avoid any damage from the jig itself.

You are a sick puppy. Not that there is anything wrong with that in this instance.
The burning question though is does the cap still open and close correctly or close to it?

Yes. It sticks a little tiny bit because the center locking pin isn't, well, centered anymore. I'm glad that was your burning question. Mine was "will it still screw back onto the handle?"

Not to throw cold water on the idea but Darwins I believe were made of cobalt steel. A Wolfman would probably work though you'd also need to slant the handle for full effect.

Evil I say Evil. I like it.

So next out of the razor studio by tom will the the 3D printed TARWIN SLANT. This will take some time. I will need to reverse engineer the best I can through photos. Getting the geometry as close as possible is the challenge.

    Color suggestions?
