Ok sign on up for a spin with tourqued. You know the etiquette by now. US only at this time. I am feeling lazy for this. Please feel free to add yourself to the list. Then repost. I am all Tuckered out from being creative. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
You guys are in. I am meeting up with @jmudrick this weekend. As he always tries my razors it will be going there first.
Yes it is. It is a modified version of my last 3 piece. I have been working with @PLANofMAN on a fixture for making slant razors from old types. So I figured why not try making one myself.
Shave 1 with Nacet (1). In a word phenomenal. Tom's original three piece was very good but this is another level, at least matching the Fatip Lo Storto in efficiency but with enough blade feel that managing pressure and angle is much easier with the TBT. Loading is easy, no play to mess with. Handle balances well, though I'll certainly experiment with a heavier one. Angle easy to find with moderate audible feedback--not noisy like the Shake Sharp but a lot more than the Fatip and a bit more than the Spiral Curve. Going ATG on my head there is no hint of chatter or hesitation. Though the razor is light one doesn't have to be so attentive to s tight grip as one does with say the PAA Slant. Ok titanium might be even better but that's hardly a criticism. I used the I Coloniali Mango soap and had no issues with clogging. I'll change up soap and blade tomorrow. I was talking with Tom yesterday about the Fatip and how much as I like it I wouldn't want it as I daily driver for its lack of feedback. This one is without question daily driver material. Looking forward to another shave tomorrow.
