    Soap: RazoRock For NEW YORK
    Brush: Semogue 620 boar
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
    Blade: Astra SP (5)
    Aftershave: RazoRock For NEW YORK

As a result of living in an air conditioned environment for several days, during my shave this morning I endured a nose bleed. It would have made a grisly pic showing the blood oozing into the lather, meandering down my lip and chin and then dripping into the sink. Still managed a 2 pass DFS.

Sorry about the blood-letting. Glad the shave was in the end successful.

A gear that for me has the symptoms of a rustic elegance and that fully satisfies my mechanical and olfactory requirements.

I took a chance with a Rapira, which I hadn't used in years and an EdT that is a bit "hot" for this climate. But not too much when I shaved.
The blade gave no surprises, guided by the geometry of the Saxon razor.

It was gratifying to see the admiring glances of passers-by when I went to pick up sharped knives: I can't do it, but the grinder... can! And that's enough.

    Enter Contemplation:

Brush: DG Jefferson Unicorn Ivory B8
    Razor: Gillette Hybrid Tech
    Blade: Feather SS (10)
    Lather:Declaration Grooming - Contemplation - Soap
Post Shave: Declaration Grooming - Contemplation - Aftershave
Frag: Imaginary Authors - The Soft Lawn - Eau de Parfum

Finally some contemplation! Back in 2018 I bought myself a bottle of contemplation aftershave on sale and really enjoyed the scent. Tthe bright scent that is floral but also has that clary sage note, that I find quite enjoyable. So when contemplation soap was released again, I jumped on it. Really enjoyed the scent/shave today.

The Feather blade is starting to get a little tuggy - it didn't feel as sharp as the previous shaves with it. I might try it in another 'more blade feel' razor one more time before retiring the blade. However, it still does cut very well and ended up with an excellent shave.

First spray of IA's soft lawn today - it's green, light and not too offensive for a work environment. I find it's very much on point for IA frags - sort of their signature in a way - the scents don't project excessively. I generally only do one spray but I feel I could get away with a couple with soft lawn. It does remind me of tennis balls.

    Thursday morning:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Minora day 3
    Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS
    Prep ASB
Reef Point Fougère Santal AS Splash

Not quite a Grand Freeze but still colder than cold enough to satisfy my menthol cravings - the Kudu, with its delightful coffee/peppermint scent as well as its awesome lather put me in a great mood this morning and the menthol sensation felt heavenly. The Prep delivered beautifully on the postshave care and the Fougère Santal aftershave from Reef Point has a gorgeous scent along with a very generous amount of menthol. Three passes left me super BBS!

    Be well and stay safe!
