    The correct definition of the Tabac stench are fetid, fusty, malodorous, noisome, putrid, rank, and stinking. While all these words mean "bad-smelling," fusty and musty suggest lack of fresh air and sunlight, fusty also implying prolonged uncleanliness, musty stressing the effects of dampness, mildew, or age. The prolonged result on the female of the species is revulsion!

    That's what I use. My post shave routine consists of witch hazel, balm and aftershave all topped by sunscreen. I work out in the elements, my skin needs all the help it can get.

    Maybe a year or so back, I did a week each with Arko, MWF, Tabac, and Williams (the modern version). In the end, I'm pretty certain that Tabac was my top pick, with MWF trailing just slightly. I've never had an issue with lathering MWF. There have been many people say they do. Maybe it's their water. Or, quite possibly, it's because MWF lathers "differently" than many. MWF often starts out sort of bubbly and thin, then changes once you begin to face lather. For folks who are accustomed to using soaps like Stirling, that start out as dense and rich, I can understand why they might not like MWF.

    Tabac seems to build a denser lather than MWF....still plenty slick and protective. The post shave feel goes to MWF. The biggest thing missing from MWF? The glorious "grandma's purse" scent. :D
    For folks wanting some classic soaps in the den, they can't go wrong with either. But, why choose....get both!
