i would agree with that,i use it sometimes ,splash and all,but only when i am not leaving the house..the cologne is nice,not flowery like the soap or aftershave.an actual tobacco vibe to it..

 

eau de old fart..just mix with the veg..true seniors home experience..

Today’s felt nice as a result of finally some variety following the JustOneJuly theme. I decided to go with the Long Rifle Hawkeye, sample size, so that I can finish off another soap. I have enjoyed the soap paired with the Pinaud Citrus Musk. Given that I have so many soap in the den at my pleasure, I will not be replacing this soap anytime soon. In the distant future, I may pick up another sample size.

As for today’s shave, the combination of the soap and the Proline allowed for an extremely close shave. That being said, the blade has found its final resting place in the bin following shave # 5. Extremely smooth feeling on the skin throughout except for the area around the jawline hinge which has a slight feel of AstroTurf.

Finally, we must of had a boat load of rain last night as the water line of the pool has risen about the skimmers. Welcomed rain as the lawn surely needed it. Sprinklers can’t top as good soaking by Mother Nature.

vintage is great stuff,just got one recently.now that i know that it makes the modern even more miserable..i use modern from time to time and can build a great lather with it..build is the key word here..

I dipped the dry brush 5x and a little harder than usual to get more soap on it. Wetted my face with my hands because I don't have a damp brush. Dipped tye brush tips with water and got a very nice voluminous lather. Did 2 passes and one minor touchup and got a IBSS++. However, on my first pass I poked my neck and got a little nick, and two tiny weeps. Styptic made them vanish. This is my second use since I honed this razor and it is sharp! I am thrilled with this edge. Applied the matching aftershave to finish this shave. Just a side note. I have not used open blades this many times on a daily basis so I am surprised that my skin is holding up. Anyway, it's a wrap for this month. Have a great day guys!
