The grain on that brush handle is gorgeous, Clint! Wonderful setup, and monthly calendar recap as well. Have a great Friday!

That's fine. If you want to miss out on the scent most likely to pick up ladies in the nursing home, it's your loss. :happy102:

Great shave, Joe. I received a Long Rifle Soap as part of the Giveaway from our ECWS Meetup which has a nice muted peppermint smell. I know nothing about the outfit. Do you like their soaps? I may give it a swing when I’m doing a full safety razor shave sometime.

    Great report Paul!

    Nice setup Jeff!

FWIW, end of May, I switched to MWF shower soap, 150g bar. About half done now, 5-6 showers a week with it, including face scrub before shaving. Awesome lather, awesome skin feel, definitely repurchasing. MWF shave soap, it's ok, hit or miss lathers with it from the city water here....so many other shave soaps (like every single one) or creams never have that issue (and many have better aromas)....so MWF for shaving is not often. I'll give it a whirl again soon though.

    Awesome Mark!

    Great results from the experiment!

That's been considered as well, at least for as much consideration as I've put into it. I may hit you up at some point for grit recommendations, etc. There's a thread on DFS about the Wild Whetstone Ocean Jaspers that's rather intriguing. It's touted as a one-stone-fit-all...

    Awesome image and report Joseph!

And I think you nailed it for me with badger knots. All these SHD knots (anyone's version) just isn't my cup of tea.

Great report and ramblings Bruce! Nice looking Slim, even though it doesn't come out to play often.

Blair, a recommendation, if you're willing. Other folks I've known who’ve had hard water issues with MWF, even Mantic59, have resolved them with the use of distilled water. You can buy a gallon at your local supermarket for well south of two bucks. It works beautifully with MWF. Just a thought! :)
