    Ugh... JoAnna, Sparky needs to find a way to filter out the rude, inconsiderate, jerks from placing orders. :angry021

    JoAnna, you have been awesome with any order I have placed. Makes me feel guilty that I haven't placed more orders. Why can't people get that they are placing order for a product made to order that takes time to produce and there are many orders needing filled at the same time. Artistry takes time! :angry032

    A lot of people don't realize how small scale TSD Store is. The FAQs and About Us page links are fairly low down on the left side of the store, unfortunately. Makes it hard for people to find the info. This email didn't come through the Contact Us page, but a lot do. And that makes me really :confused: cause the link to Contact Us is right there with the FAQs and About Us links. I do realize though that a lot of websites FAQs is so much blah blah that doesn't even address your question, but I still look before going off on someone.

    My customer service is very mirror-like. What you give me, is what you get back. Mean and rude gets mean and rude, friendly and nice gets friendly and nice. Plenty of folks can attest to my friendly and giving customer service, and plenty can attest to my not so friendly customer service.

    I do get a bit of a giggle out of the thought of how shocked some people must be to get such a rude response from customer service. :laugh042 But I can't help it. I'm a bit straight forward.

    It kinda a Catch 22 for me, I feel guilty when I do place an order since I know she's always busy and she doesn't get a salary, but then again it is for the good of the board and keeps the site running. :confused:

    If she made mediocre products it would be a much easier decision, but her products are just too danged good. :(

    Yup... that is how I feel as well. The one thing that keeps me from ordering tons of extra products is my skin sensitivity. So I will probably keep to 2-3 different soaps and replace as then run out. Hmmm.. it does appear time to get some more Iced Subzero Wheat Shaving Cream. However, I may just put it on my wishlist so family can get something I want. Hmmm... but would my inconsiderate family be the type to complain loud and cause JoAnna grief... Yup... They certainly are the loud complain until the issue is ground to death and long since decayed type of people. Sorry... I think I won't put it on my family wishlist afterall.. I better stick to premade mass produced items with them.. But maybe a TSD gift certificate will be on the list.

    Are gift certifs through TSD store an automatic process?

    Automatic? Not sure what you mean, but I'll tell you what I know, and hopefully it covers what you mean.

    Gift certificates come in 5, 10, 20, 25, and 50 dollar denominations. You pay for it (no shipping), and receive an email with the gift certificate redemption code(s).

    That was basically what I meant, they place an order, the server sends them an e-mail with a code. Nothing that they have to bother you with and a last minute shopper can still get something I would want.

    Now, I'm worrying about Christmas. If people order products a week or two before thinking it's going to get there before Christmas, it's going to be a rough holiday.

    Sounds like I have an experiment to conduct next time I place an order...

    I'll probably get scared and run away crying.

    I love ordering from your store, because I know what's what and both you and the goods you make are great. :D

    Bill sent me a bunch of TSD Wheat Cream a few weeks back and I must say that it's fantastic. You might remember that I like your shave soaps, but not your regular shave creams - well this wheat cream of yours is quite fantastic. You did a great job on it.

    By the way - I haven't yet tried out that cologne around the lady because it's been too chilly to wear it lately. I'll let you know as soon as I do though.

    And Justin - how full was the box when you sent it out?

    Could you perhaps put up a notice in a large font on the front page of the store regarding that to try and prevent a rough holiday?

    So I managed to try those TSD Wheat Creams you sent me a while back. They're fantastic and work really great for me. Thank you very much.

    I've got a funny story related to all those little pots of things you sent me. There was one sleepy morning last week I wanted a shave consisting of entirely lime-scented products. I remembered all the limey goodness you sent along, so I figured I'd give some new products a whirl. I ended up pulling out the Golden Aftershave Balm, opened it up and noted how runny it looked. I thought "hmm... that's strange. Oh well," and dipped my finger in it to pull some out to put on my brush. As I was bringing my finger out of the container, everything clicked. Whoops. :ashamed001

    I then decided I'd put away the aftershave balm until AFTER I shaved and proceeded to have a very nice shave with JoAnna's Lime Wheat Cream which was followed up by TSD Iced Lime Splash and THEN the Lime Golden Aftershave Balm.

    Getting feedback from Bill is like pulling teeth, though. And I can't recall if Rodd has tried my regular cream.

    JoAnna, How about making it a bit easier to find the Gift Certificates in the store. Especially with the holidays coming up. I bet more people would do the gift certificates if they were easier to locate.

    Just a thought.

    you could close the store to new orders two weeks out. the Christmas pre-sale gave people a chance to get their orders in and also gave folks a heads up about your holiday workload.

    The old box was getting in rough shape so Dark put everything in a new lareg flat rate box. However there was a lot of room in it and I knew we were trying to keep it a medium box so I made sure it would fit in a medium box (I have a stack of them sitting here) and used a medium again. Everything fits, but it is a bit full. It isn't bursting and things shouldn't be crushed, but I wouldn't put much more in. Splitting to two boxes might be a good idea.

    Sorry, that was not my intent. My side of the family is having a late Thanksgiving (when we draw for names for gift exchange) and an early Christmas. So it will be a rapid turnaround for online orders. But yeah... a nice big warning would be a good addition to the store.
