You have quite the collection Gary. I continue to be impressed. So much so that I even looked this one up:
Sunday 08.02.20 SOTD Gillette ‘62 H3 Slim Adjustable Feather Hi-Stainless Platinum Maggard 22mm Aluminum Handle 2-Band Badger Pre de Provence shave soap Pre de Provence Sante Green Tea
Gillette Aristocrat adjustable, Bic Chrome Platinum, shave 5 1964 model with a date code of J. Razor was set at 8. Still mild at this setting but much more efficient than lower settings. I also did some back and forth with a Slim also a J date coded razor and found they are pretty mucb identical shave wise as I always suspected. End result not quite a BBS finish after 5 passes but better than most Gillette razors.
A wet and rainy Sunday but it’s still Sunday! Continuing on with the trio and today’s razor is the 1956 Gillette Red Tip Super Speed. Love them each and they all have a place in the rotation but if I could only have one it would be the Red Tip. Southern Witchcrafts Peach was the soap of the day. Very nice scent. The matching AS is a bit brighter scent wise and filled with skin food. Very, very nice. Two pass DFS achieved and ready for a quick trip out to see my Dad and pick up a special mug for a Buddy. Stay safe and dry!
