    Good morning guys!

    Straight shave #191
Wostenholm 5/8 Full Hollow Square Point
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Chiseled Face Cryogen SS and AS

This is the 10th and final shave of this experiment with this Cryogen puck. I will share my findings in another comment. Dotted the dry brush 3 times on the puck and then dipped the tips of the brush in water.
Lathered on a dry face and with adding small increments of water, I got a nice lather. This is the 36th shave since I honed this razor and it still is quite sharp without doing a refresh via Crox. I am still amazed that this was one of my first self-honed razors and it is still going strong. I could have done one pass and be done, but 2 gave me a nice comfortable shave just short of a BBS without irritation or blood loss. Finished this shave with a nice amount of the aftershave and I am ready to go. I am going to use this razor more often because it really is so easy to shave with it. Ok, be on the look out on what I have learned from this 10 day experiment. Have a good day guys!

Gold Medal gear/took home the Silver.
Face lathered the Baume and once again, the Rooney was superb.
Took a lot longer to get the water ratio correct, being 95% a bowl-latherer.
The cream starts off very pasty and
because I refuse to scrub with this brush,
paint strokes are my only option.
I got there and the lather was just the way I like it.
The Dovo did great and everything was going swimmingly, until I attempted
    the toe-down left-to-right move.
Now, the move is a good one and I determined to get it right.
One issue is seeing. My skin-stretching hand and shaving hand almost completely
obstruct my view in the mirror; resulting in me having to do it "blind"
Well, the Dovo caught me on my jar and while it wasn't bad, I did need
the styptic pencil to stop the small trickle of blood.
The Ogallala is no slouch when it comes to an aftershave burn,
    but smells refreshing.

Wonderful shave and setup, Joe! Cool photo at the Lacrosse tournament, too! In a few years, you'll be teaching shaving classes for your young man.

I've successfully made that stroke the few times I tried. It is very effective. However, it reminded too much of peeling an apple in the dark. I settle for what I get on XTG strokes that I can see in the mirror.

Great Sunday Shave! Hope there isn't a mark. Don't tell the Dr. that folks here say 'chicks dig scars'.

Thank you Joe....given the issues from 2 shaves ago, I was pleased(that was the Rise Rise duo).

Mr. Cawtuh, you and Primotenore should get Pullitzers for your posts :).

Awesome shave Joseph! It is a very tough maneuver, but once you master it, you get close to a BBS shave or an actual BBS shave. I would not do it with some of my razors, most notably the Mad Max. I find it easier to do with my smaller razors and shavettes.

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements SS, ASB, AS/C - Doppelgänger Grey Label (homage to Creed Aventus)
    Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic
    J3Customs Kamisori

Picked one of my 'golden' shave setups to start this month...everything in this gro up just 'gets it done'. If it wasn't so much fun playing switcheroo with all the elements of the shave, this would be a near dream shave to repeat daily. Of course I wouldn't know that without all the other trials of combinations I've been through (with so many still to explore)....so a daily rule using the same gear is a no go for me. Might play with a focus soon though....

Incredible CK-6 bowl and face lather from the Chubby 2, super fragrant soap slinging fun this morning. 3 passes with this monster Kamisori, couple upper lip weepers (no biggie)....DFS+ results. Missed the baby 'cause of a small sandpaper area below the right jawline/chin. Oh well, still an awesome shave. PAA's Star Jelly along with the matching Aftershave & Cologne, weepers gone, smelling fine for a day out with wifey.

Went for a long over due bike ride this morning....~36 minutes total, 6.7 miles, 4" fat tire bike. Lots of huffing and puffing.....
