Most of last week during work was all Rush, just constant rotation of their studio albums from Permanent Waves to Clockwork Angels. So...this ride was another favorite, Disturbed, latest album, Evolution. Several very awesome songs, one of the best....In Another Time.

Morning shave, evening post...

Razor - Charcoal Goods Lv2
Blade - Gillette 7 O'Clock something (SharpEdge maybe?)
Soap - Tabac
Brush - The Weapon
A/S - Clubman

Had to get moving this morning, plus still have the scratch from yesterday's shave with the SRX. Decided to abandon the SRX today in favor of speed - and being hurried with the SRX isn't a good idea for me, especially with a fresh cut that could easily be ripped back open.
Tomorrow I'll most likely move on to another soap for variety. Lately it's been MWF, then three shaves with Tabac. My opinion hasn't changed, I still favor Tabac. Not by a landslide, but just by a little bit. Scent aside, I like the creaminess and density of Tabac better. I still give the post shave feel to MWF. Again, just by a smidge. When they run out, they'll both get refills.
Maybe one or two tiny weepers, however no real drama to speak of. Just a nice, close shave. Finished off with Clubman again to bask in the glorious scent of coming out of a real man's barbershop.

Ah, some Disturbed!! Another fabulous band. If you haven't had the chance to see them live, make it a point to do so. Not gonna happen this year, thanks to our Covid friend hanging around, unfortunately. They put on an incredible stage show. And, yes - Evolution kicks some serious butt.

 

Excellent post, Maestro, the Ogallala is good stuff. It used to be one of my favorites when I could use scented AS.

Despite the weeps, it was a wonderful shave Bruce! I am a Clubman fan. Classic and Veg will always be in my den. In fact, I have a new soap that I want to use and will pair it with the Veg on my next shave.

Thanks Joe! The weeper(s) were minuscule and gone before the shave ended. Certainly nothing close to the "gotcha!" from the Parker the day prior. Clubman is a good, classic scent. Not everyone feels the same, and that's perfectly ok. That's why there are many, many, many different aftershave scents made.
