Very cool! Does he show interest in the razors and soaps at this point, or not really?

Excellent shave experiment and analysis Joe. If I even choose to pick up a full tub of Cryogen I definitely will adhere to your recommendations.

Only a little. Occasionally, he will pick out the next day’s software.

Thanks Joe! I had to do it because there might be others that want to try it. I wanted to give you guys a way of using it without having the problems that I encountered so that you can enjoy Cryogen.

Great looking shave and photo Bruce. The Charcoal Goods razor looks fantastic.

Excellent shave Bruce. I have not experienced either of these soaps as of yet.

Losing can be character building for a young man! The key is to maintain intensity and focus. I used to coach two of my three sons back in the 80s. It’s a great sport! I always enjoyed crease attack because I didn’t have to gallop back and forth like the midfielders. It was fun to work with the young men.

The hard work pays off eventually. I’ve sat through many a volleyball or soccer tournament with the same results.

Maybe in time, when he gets closer to needing to shave, he’ll show more interest. Who knows, he could be one of the “lucky ones” who take up traditional shaving and don’t make it a hobby, actually saving money. :D

Anthony played all three positions, attack, defense and middie, today. He does not have the speed and the stamina to be a mid fielder so it was painful to watch him lumber like a Clydesdale. He is a one of the tallest and biggest on his team. It was still a good learning experience for him and the team.

Thank you Joe. I absolutely love Fine L’Orange Noir. Since I’ve never tried the soaps you listed I’m afraid I’m no help. I believe Maggard Razor has Fine aftershave samples.

Sorry to hear of the three game loss this weekend too. Hopefully his spirits aren’t dampened too badly.

Hopefully! It should not cost him much as I will catalog all my razors and brushes so he understands the history of when I obtained them, vintage information if it applies and any pointer that I have learned from using each.

Already 400+ posts behind, I have been busy and will be busy for about another week to the point I will just be doing 'drive by postings. Here are my Sunday and Monday shaves:

Sunday, a big heavy Osiris blade, the scent of Irish Spring reminding me of my youth and handle crafted by Jason with an Elite razor knot. Shave was excellent but a little feedback from the alum left me short of declaring this one epic.... Excellent is always a welcome shave.

Monday and back to work means a safety razor shave so, I loaded a fresh Feather Pro into my Cobra Classic and went to work. A Thäter 2 band produced an excellent lather from a vintage Old Spice puck. With only 18 hours between shaves it is hard to achieve an epic shave, this one was excellent.
