    I call 'em how I feel 'em. A good number of my straights it's more work than I care for. But with this razor, today was not one rough or even a slightly sandpaper patch found after the 3rd clean up pass, nor while applying the ASB. Would it pass a cotton ball test? Probably 97% or better of the area shaved, but that's not anything I'm interested in pursuing. Thanks Jeff!

    Monday's Shave

    Eversharp Schick J1
    Personna Blade
    WCS Beacon Synthetic
    Proraso Shaving Soap (Green)
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Proraso Aftershave (Green)

    Nothing major to report other than a spectacular shave today. 3 full passes resulted in a BBS finish and no irritation. The Proraso Green was just what I needed for a Menthol Monday.

    My youngest daughter went with the same razor when the TSD 'Traveling Box' came around the first time I participated. She was 15 (now 16). She also chose a shaving cream from the box, I had given her a couple options before, but she found one she liked a bit better, forgot what it was. May want to try....if you could figure out how to introduce the idea now that she wants the pink plastic razors.....give her a couple blade options. My daughter tried a few, Feather, Gillette, Treet, Voskhod....really liked the Gillette Silver Blues I've gotten from Amazon. She quickly decided Feather wasn't an option (set down error & razor burn).

    Thanks, Blair. I gave her a Derby Extra blade to start as I thought it would be the better option against cuts.

    Love the greens and blues Gary. The green bleeding over to the razor finish and bowl....cool. Nice setup too!

    Great sounding soap and shave Joe!

    Congrats on the ERN Joe! Love the soap, fun naming. Pairing with Lavender or Oud, very cool!
