    I did use a conditioner. Unfortunately, it scent of the conditioner took over the scent from the soap. Even with the splash I still get whiffs of the conditioner. I had to hit my face with some PAA Malbolge to compensate.

    Hopefully, my soaking and lathering of the brush will produce better results. One other method I have used in the past with great results is to dry “lather” the brush on a towel for about 5-10 minutes for about 7 days. This tends to split the bristles nicely.
