    Happy Hump Day. It has certainly been a week thus far. Inspired by @Primotenore, I went with my Thäter 4125/3 3 band. This brush is so soft it feels like lathering with a badger cloud. It is by far my most luxurious feeling brush. The cloud like feeling combined with the fresh green sent of the WSP Fresh Vetiver soap made face lathering a pure joy. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect BBS shave. My lower right neck helped the little guy escape. A splash of the matching aftershave and a spritz of Guerlain Vetiver EdT was the perfect end to the shave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

    Beautiful, Clint. + I completely concur with your statement. I have had a LOT of brushes and this knot is by FAR the softest, creamiest, supple knot ever in my den. I have yet to try it on a triple-milled soap. That's next, but I can guarantee, I will bloom the soap.

    I discovered that the Gillette Silver Blue is a "one and done" blade.
    The exquisite lather you see pictured below was created courtesy of my Thäter 4125/2.
    (25mm of badger-heaven)
    The CFG soap is a magnificent base, but the scent is probably not to everyone's liking.
    I like eclectic scents, so it fits my lifestyle just right.

    The BFH is such a pleasure to use. Beefy is the best word to describe it.
    When I compare it to my 1908 Single Ring, it's like David and Goliath.
    Still, in the right hands (mine, of course) there's no issue getting a terrific shave.
    And that's what I got.
