I just wanted to show you guys how I arrange my summer soaps and aftershaves. As you can see, I included my hanging strop, too! 20200807_125055.jpg

I enjoy using my B4 Red Tip razor. It's always a great performer. Glad it worked well for you today!

    Terrific ATS shave, Joe!
Great info, Blair! I have a Lang reverse flow offset smoker and I'm a foiler. 175° internal temp is the sweet spot for me then continue cooking to 195° then let it rest in a cooler wrapped with old towels for about an hour. Still too hot to handle bare handed at this point. It's some good eating!

It is good to remind yourself about the difference between cart-shaving and wet-shaving with safety razors.

That's a nice smoker Jim. Most of what I know on offset smokers/pellet smokers runs from reading that smoking meat forum. I just kind of improvise a bit along with skimming the BGE forum. So that 175 makes perfect sense, meat's further away from the heat source.

We don't have room for an offset smoker and a grill, typical suburbia plot. The BGE was a compromise, it's awesome for ~230 degrees and above.....and I've had it 650+ degrees for pizza stone fun.

I forgot to mention I have two 'hot hands' setups. Silicone hot gloves for handling food directly, the welders gloves for handling/moving parts around on the BGE while hot. Amazon, less than ~$45 delivered. Inexpensive skin saving!

My wife is from India so she grew up a vegetarian. In college she would eat a little meat now and then. It took years for her to even buy meat in the grocery. She will eat a little meat most days but it is generally limited to chicken or fish. Both of the girls will eat beef, pork or chicken. They are not a fan when I cook big hunks of meat.
