Thanks, Maestro! It was practically black with tarnish when I acquired it off the bay in a lot. Remarkable what some brass polish, jeweler's rouge and a Dremel can accomplish. Enjoy your Saturday!

Enjoy your Saturday, Gary. I know I've been going on about what a great shaver the New LC is over the past few months, but it really is incredibly efficient. It outshaves the Fine SS Homage razor, which is a good shaver, and one I'm happy to own, but the actual OC plate on the original makes all the difference in the world.

Cody is still learning the ropes at home so he can be a handful. Luckily he’s wiped out now and napping next to the sofa.

That is good. Remember, when you go out to walk him, make sure HE doesn't walk YOU. :)

Maya leaves for Lexington next Friday. Cody will be going to work. Then dog Mocha can have her home to herself again.

    @jgreenepa
Before to choose my favourite, Kai ProTouch, I oredered a sample of each AC model available.
For my technique / skin, Feather Super is too aggressive.
After a dozen of shaves is smooth enough for my taste.
In the last years I've always used ProTouchs.
This chinese clone is quite good IMHO.
    Just packaging is the problem.
Dirty, rusty, scummy ... cheap in the worst way.

    But blade itself is good.
Today 30th use is nice as the 3rd.
Very close to the original one.
But a friend just told me microscope pics show some difference.
Soon I'll watch this. And share, of course.
    ;)

PierPaolo, the Schick P-30 AC blade is milder, smoother , but almost as sharp than the Feather Super. I used to use them, before discovering the wonders of the Feather Super.

You like those thin French Tech handles on your New LC heads, Gary! Looking forward to your shave.
