thank you Jeff.i honestly think the new series razors are their best ..i do like the nickel plate ones more as the gold wears off quickly, but that's just being picky..fabulous shavers..and to think 2 years ago i feared them....
A local hospital had to close after a tornado ripped off the roof. We fortunately had no real damage other than food going bad. So we escaped real issues thankfully. One of my neighbors at the site of the tree blockage had his sunporch destroyed by a tree launched by the tornado that blocked our access route. Other than that all is well. Have considered a titanium steel box to protect, Ian, my TR6. Unfortunately, SWMBO and my family think my attachment to a car is silly. I don't think so; especially if you've spent 45 years together and been through two restorations. I've spent more time with my car than I have with any living family member with the exception of my oldest son.
Well our technique improves as the years pass. I'm still terrified of straight razors, but am now able to shave with them, although I'm far from achieving the level of expertise I have with my safety razors.
and the winner is....just kidding.i am protectful of my car as well, part of being a car guy.never makes sense to non car people.the adventures, memories and friendships a cool car can create..most people overlook that.i am glad it got away unscathed..steel shipping containers aren't badly priced..
Not my man cave, Jeff. I will be moving outside this afternoon to spread my lazy day around. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Wow, that's immaculate! Gorgeous example of NOS! You're a lucky guy! There's a guy on B&B who's been bugging me to buy my NOS Le Coq Cage Head razor. I told him he couldn't afford it. His reply was try me! $10K was bit too rich for his blood!
i think it's cool that you are giving it a good college try..i have used a lord disposable shavette once..it did ok,i was overly cautious with it.just not my thing..i didn't get any pleasure from it,but..i can be clumsy sometimes and like a little safety net there when available..
the set pic is from mr.razor site, but mine is a near nos set..came fully intact minus the shipper box.i understand the attachment..you said you would settle for $9950.00 of course....plus shipping..
Well enjoy yourself, Jim; you've certainly earned the right given the incredible number of hours you've been working. Looks like you have room for a pool back there. I've been spending the last day and 1/2 cleaning debris out of my pool! It's finally starting to look blue again! My youngest grandson is coming over tomorrow with his parents for a swim.
Thanks, Gary. The BAUME.BE shave cream is the second best cream in my den. The first being Santa Maria Novella. And SMN wins, because of the scent, not the performance. Stay far away from the BAUME.BE hard soap.
